| THE APPLICATION / RESUME |

cctexasjobs allows you to complete an application and resume once. After you have submitted your Application / Resume, you will be able to apply for multiple jobs with the City of Corpus Christi without having to fill out the same information every time. Once you haveset up your online resume/application, you also can update your information and check the status of different job positions online. You just use your log-in and password.
NOTE: cctexasjobs combines your resume and application into one document. "I am not providing a resume" means fill out your application manually. If you have a standard resume on-hand, you will have the opportunity online to upload it. cctexasjobs will "read" as much of the information as it can and will fill in some of the fields, thus reducing the details that you must enter for your application to be complete and accepted. Based on the format of your resume, the system will be able to "upload" as much information as can be identified from your standard resume, so remember that you will need to check each field to ensure it is completed accurately. You also can attach your standard resume if you want to add it as supplemental information.

| All employees of the City hold Essential Services positions, and as part of the City's Emergency Response Team, provide services in the course and scope of their employment for the benefit of the general public during emergency situations that threaten the safety of Corpus Christi's citizens. All City employees may be required to work immediately before, during, or immediately after an emergency or disaster as required, unless a waiver is requested and approved. |
